Amend or void a generated certificate
Generated certificate revisions are fixed. Use a controlled amendment or void action rather than editing an issued PDF.
Amend a certificate
- Open the calibration event's Certificate page.
- Select the current issued revision.
- Enter a clear amendment reason.
- Start the controlled amendment workflow.
- Complete independent review and render the replacement revision.
The replacement keeps the original certificate number and advances the revision. The previous revision remains retained and marked superseded.
Void a certificate
Void a certificate when it must no longer be presented as valid and an amendment is inappropriate. Enter the reason and confirm the controlled action. Verification continues to identify the number while reporting its void status.
Neither action changes the approved source calibration evidence silently. Material result corrections should follow the calibration supersession workflow first.
