Use Calibration → Declared uncertainty to create a documented declaration for non-accredited internal calibration or quantitative verification. Functional checks, external work and accredited calculation requirements cannot use this route.

The requirement's Approved declared expanded uncertainty choice also provides Manage controlled declarations for permitted readers. It opens a separate tab so the unfinished requirement remains available. This route does not require loading an unrelated calculation budget; choose the approved declaration for each actual point when recording work.

Pin the exact approved controlled method revision, quantity, unit, inclusive range and conditions. Enter positive U and an explicitly stated positive k, derivation and justification, retained supporting document or certificate revisions, effective date and proposed expiry. No coverage factor or validity period is assumed.

Submit for independent technical review. The reviewer must be a different underlying user from the author and submitter and hold the applicable uncertainty approval permission. The reviewer selects the expiry and completes required signature controls. Approved content is immutable: corrections require a new revision.

Configure the requirement with Approved declared expanded uncertainty, either No accreditation required or Traceable required, a controlled method and required structured measurements. Traceability remains required when selected; this route cannot make an accredited claim. For each measurement point and recorded stage, select an approved declaration in Measurement uncertainty. Record the exact approved conditions in the event's environmental conditions. The server validates method, quantity, range, conditions and validity at the performed date.

Submission freezes measurement and declaration versions. Expiry prevents new use; revocation prevents new use and approval of affected unfinished work. Completed evidence remains retained. Outputs identify declared uncertainty explicitly. It may support an approved non-accredited conformity decision but cannot supply an accredited uncertainty calculation.
