Assign work orders
An order can have a default person, an operational team, or both. An item-level person overrides the default for that item. Team membership supports planning and claiming; it does not grant permissions or prove technical competence.
Metra checks each candidate against active membership, permission to perform calibration work and an exact technical-authorisation activity reference.
- Authorised — eligible for the planned start date.
- Expires before due — may be assigned, but the authorisation needs attention before the due date and is checked again when work starts.
- Not yet effective, Not authorised, Inactive member, or Cannot perform — cannot be selected for that work and date.
Narrative scope and limits are shown for a qualified planner to review. Metra does not claim to machine-approve free-text scope.
Reassigning unstarted work changes its effective assignment. A linked calibration event retains its own controlled assignment and lifecycle rules.
