Import calibration procedures as drafts
Choose Calibration procedures to convert existing methods into Metra's existing controlled-procedure model. Import does not create a separate template entity.
A long-form source can use one row per procedure step. Map the procedure code and metadata, then map each step's stable key, positive sequence, supported kind, title, instruction and required controls. A workbook can instead contain linked Procedures and Steps sheets joined by procedure code.
Metra groups rows by procedure code and previews each proposed draft with an ordered step list. Review duplicate keys or sequences, orphan steps, inconsistent metadata, unsupported step kinds and type-specific configuration errors.
References to a decision rule or uncertainty budget must identify an exact eligible approved revision in this organisation. Metra never chooses “latest” implicitly.
When a procedure code already exists, explicitly fail, skip, or create a new draft revision when no open draft conflicts. Import never overwrites an existing draft or approved revision.
Every imported procedure and revision remains draft. Open it from the results page, complete technical review, then use the normal submission and independent approval workflow.
