Reference standards in ISO 17025 dossiers

When a dossier freezes its selection, Metra retains the exact standard usage revision, traceability assessment and hash, profile revisions, source calibration revisions, accreditation snapshots, and certificate versions and checksums used by each selected calibration.

The dossier summary reports complete, complete-with-warnings, incomplete, compromised, and unassessed chains. Missing or compromised evidence is reported rather than silently omitted.

Generated packages may include:

  • Reference-standard register CSV.
  • Calibration reference-standard usage CSV.
  • Traceability chains CSV.
  • Traceability findings CSV.
  • Human-readable traceability-chain PDF.

A later recalibration, certificate replacement, profile edit, or upstream invalidation does not rewrite the original approved snapshot. Later invalidation can produce a new compromised assessment that remains alongside the original.

Frozen generated files

The generated dossier freezes the selected usage and traceability evidence. Its reference-standard register, usage, chain, finding, and human-readable chain files are point-in-time artifacts recorded in the ZIP manifest. A complete structural chain is evidence that configured links were present; it is not a statement that the organisation, calibration, or dossier conforms to ISO/IEC 17025.
