Resolve uncertainty warnings

Findings are retained as information, warning, or blocking. Calculation errors and blocking findings must be corrected. Common causes include missing observations, incompatible units, unavailable reference-standard uncertainty, or a source capability outside the measurement range.

Warnings identify conditions requiring review, such as use of a superseded budget, an unusually large uncertainty relative to tolerance, or a manual controlled component.

Members with uncertainty acknowledgement permission can acknowledge a warning from the uncertainty workspace:

1. Read the warning, its point association, and integrity hash.
2. Select Acknowledge warning.
3. Enter an explicit reason describing the review and why work may continue.
4. Submit the acknowledgement. Metra checks the current evaluation-set version before saving it.

An acknowledgement does not remove or downgrade the finding. It records the authorised member, time, reason, status, and version alongside the warning.

To reverse an active acknowledgement, select Withdraw acknowledgement, enter an explicit withdrawal reason, and submit it. Metra checks both the acknowledgement and evaluation-set versions. Withdrawal preserves the original reason and actor alongside the withdrawal actor, reason, and timestamp.

If another user changes the evaluation or acknowledgement first, Metra reports a conflict. Reload the current evidence, review it again, and then decide whether a new action is appropriate. Blocking findings cannot be acknowledged through this workflow and must be corrected.

Acknowledgement does not approve the event, change the calculation, or remove the warning from dossiers and evidence packs.
