Reuse a typed import profile

Save a profile after reviewing and saving a mapping. The profile records its import type, source format, target-schema version, header signature, grouping and ordering rules, transforms, defaults and exact resolution policies.

A profile can be applied only to the same import type. Metra also compares its target-schema version and source signature. Missing columns or schema drift are shown for review rather than silently forcing the old mapping.

Applying a profile never skips discovery, dependency review or complete validation. Review the representative values and any drift, save the current mapping and create a new validation snapshot before confirmation.

Archiving a profile prevents future use but does not remove revisions already retained by completed import evidence.
