Review a traceability chain
Open a reference standard or calibration event and find Traceability chain.
The vertical chain follows the calibration event to each selected standard, its source calibration and retained certificate, upstream standards, and an accepted terminal. The equivalent evidence table contains the same relationships for keyboard, screen-reader, and detailed review.
Review checks
- Confirm each standard identity and frozen profile revision.
- Confirm validity covers the work date inclusively.
- Open the exact retained certificate revision.
- Review capability, uncertainty, accreditation, and restrictions.
- Follow every branch to an accepted terminal.
- Read every warning, exception, cycle, depth, or compromised-evidence finding.
- Confirm the assessment policy version and content hash are retained.
"Traceability chain complete" means configured structural checks passed. It does not itself determine conformity or accreditation.
Compromised reassessment
If upstream calibration, certificate, or terminal evidence is later voided or invalidated, Metra may create a new compromised assessment. Review that reassessment alongside the original fixed assessment; it identifies later knowledge and does not rewrite what was approved at the time.
