In setup answers, state whether your organisation performs on-site work. This answer personalises guidance; it does not reclassify sites or grant scope.
Author a procedure revision with Approved place-of-work scope set to laboratory only, on-site only or laboratory or on-site. Record relevant transport and stabilisation requirements and environmental-condition steps. Complete normal independent review and approval. A legacy revision with unspecified scope must be reviewed before using it on-site.
Technical authorisations have the same explicit place-of-work scope. The backend rechecks current permissions, scope and validity when starting or continuing controlled work. A customer site does not mean an external calibration provider performs the work.
Choose the planned place and work site on the work order. At Start calibration, confirm the Actual place of work, Work site, and relevant environmental, transport and stabilisation evidence. This prepares a draft calibration event; it does not start the controlled procedure. Standalone calibration creation offers the same context. You can complete missing evidence in the draft summary before Start guided execution. The procedure's required evidence is enforced when guided execution starts; a reservation does not prove fitness. Current authority and fitness are rechecked during preparation and actual execution.
Starting guided execution freezes the work context. It remains visible with the work and controlled output. Do not change the site mid-execution to bypass scope restrictions; use the authorised correction workflow.
