Open Billing, then Cancel subscription or close organisation. Only a current Owner with the saved billing permission can confirm either decision. An Administrator can manage payment details and recovery but cannot confirm closure or cancellation.
- Review the organisation name, paid or trial term, retention policy and export offer.
- Use Export records before deciding if you need a private evidence copy. Current export permissions still apply.
- Choose cancellation at the end of the current term, or permanent closure with an immediate stop to operational work.
- Type the exact organisation name, enter a reason and acknowledge the export offer and retention information.
- Select Confirm the selected decision. Review the retained decision and provider completion status.
Cancellation keeps ordinary access until the recorded term ends. Closure stops operational writes and scheduled work immediately. Both request end-of-term provider cancellation; neither removes calibration records, certificates, audit history or billing evidence. A new paid checkout can restore a cancelled subscription after confirmation. It cannot reopen a permanently closed organisation.
Retention and exports
The recorded access window preserves the longer configured retention period and confirmed minimum, with at least 30 UTC calendar days after the later of the decision and current paid or trial term. A longer existing deadline is preserved. If the provider confirms a later paid boundary, the window is extended.
A current Owner with export permissions can use the private export page during that window. Other operational permissions are withdrawn. Export generation and download recheck current membership, role, permissions and the deadline. After the window ends, billing recovery and retained closure status remain available to eligible users; ordinary record export access ends.
The access deadline is not a deletion date. Unresolved regulatory or accreditation retention minima are shown explicitly. Records remain on hold until the applicable policy is resolved with the Quality Manager. Cancelling billing does not approve a purge.
Interrupted responses and provider outages
An interrupted submission keeps the prepared request in this browser tab. Restore the unfinished form, refresh decision status or retry the same unchanged decision. Do not create another decision solely because a response was lost.
Provider reconciliation is pending means the local decision is retained but remote completion has not been confirmed. Automatic retries reuse the retained scope. Use Retry provider reconciliation or refresh status to check progress. The application does not claim remote cancellation succeeded during an outage. Existing payment and invoice recovery remains available.
