Owners, Administrators, Calibration managers and Quality managers with the saved report permissions can schedule the supported fixed reports. Organisation-wide audit history requires Owner or Quality manager authority. Personal-data exports are explicit one-off requests by an Owner.
Open Quality > Exports. Choose the report and its filters, then select Schedule these filters. Review the displayed scope before entering a schedule name, frequency, timezone, local hour and future first date. Select from the people currently eligible to receive that report, then create the schedule.
Each run takes a new point-in-time snapshot using those filters. Fixed date filters remain fixed; leaving dates blank includes the applicable records available when generation runs. A scheduled report is historical evidence, not a live status page.
Calendar behaviour
Daily reports run on calendar days in the selected IANA timezone or UTC. Weekly reports keep the first run's local weekday. Monthly reports keep their selected day, clamping to the final day of a shorter month: day 31 runs on 28 or 29 February and returns to 31 March. Choose the corresponding clamped day for the first date.
A missing daylight-saving hour runs at the first valid minute after the gap. A repeated hour runs once. After downtime, Metra retains one catch-up occurrence and advances to the next future calendar time.
Delivery and current access
An occurrence is retained once, including under retry. Ready reports appear as private in-app notifications. Open the retained export to check its snapshot time, checksum, processing state and expiry before downloading.
The creator and every configured recipient must still have current membership, account, role and report permissions when generation runs. A recipient's later loss of access prevents downloading. Scheduled files are available only to their creator and configured recipients who remain authorised for that kind; ordinary report permission alone does not make somebody a recipient. No external account or unrestricted download link is created.
If a configured recipient is no longer eligible, the occurrence is retained as skipped with an explanation. Review the role assignment or replace the schedule. A processing failure remains visible through its retained export job.
Cancel or replace a schedule
Use Cancel future runs on the saved schedule. To change its report, filters, timing or recipients, create a replacement after cancellation. Queued work cannot publish after cancellation. Previously completed exports retain their own expiry and current download checks.
The schedule list and retained occurrence list are paginated. Refresh to see worker progress. An uncertain creation response keeps the original request so retrying recovers the same schedule.
